Questions

How much does a notary cost in Florida?

Florida law caps the fee at $10 per notarial act for in-person notarizations. Travel is free in Lakewood Ranch, $5 to Bradenton and $10 to Sarasota. Outside these areas, we offer online notarization.

What do I need to bring?

A current government-issued photo ID for every signer, and the complete document, unsigned. Every signer must be present. If your document needs witnesses, tell us when you book.

Can you tell me which document I need?

No. A notary who is not an attorney cannot give legal advice or prepare legal documents. Please get the document from your attorney, title company, lender or the agency that requested it.

Can you notarize a Notice of Commencement?

Yes. We notarize construction documents such as the Notice of Commencement, permit owner's affidavits and contractor final payment affidavits, at your home, office or jobsite.

Do you do Florida VIN verifications?

Yes. Florida notaries can complete the VIN verification form (HSMV 82042) for vehicles coming from out of state.
